Obituary for Jean Heisman (Skoog)
Dr. Jean Heisman age 64, of Mullica Hill passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022. Born in Rantoul, Illinois to the late Robert Emil Skoog and Ann Elizabeth (nee Golden). She lived in and served Mullica Hill as a local optometrist since 1989, running her business alongside her late husband, Elliott. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting and traveling, and was an avid fan of Ohio State University football, her alma mater.
Wife of Elliott Heisman, she is survived by her sons, Evan & Adam Heisman; her grandson, Theo Heisman; siblings, Bob, Marilynn, and Dave. Jean is also survived by her dog, Ellie.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm.
