Obituary for Joan A. Noonan
Joan Ann Noonan (nee Watson), 90 of Mantua passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Dollie Watson. Joan lived in Philadelphia before coming to Mantua some 25 years ago. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas F. Noonan; sister Dorothy (Labance); daughters Diane (Kunze) and Deborah (Gruber). She is survived by her children Kathleen Rysak (John), David Noonan (Nozomi), Thomas Noonan (Lenore), Patricia McBride (Dennis); eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. As a resident of United Methodist Communities in Pitman, Joan's ever present sunglasses earned her the moniker, "Hollywood", which she relished. Joan loved the beach, was an avid reader, puzzle solver and Bingo shark. She was a true Philadelphia sports fan, never missing a Phillies or 76ers game on television.
Family & Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral Mass will be held at 11 am. Burial will be private at a later date.
