JoAnn Rager age 86, of South Harrison Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born in Cambria, PA to the late Irvin B. Salsgiver and Sarah (Kelly). She retired from Acme Markets where she worked in the bakery department. She was a member of the Local 1360 Retiree's Club, enjoyed bowling and trips to the casinos. JoAnn was a loving mother and always cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wife of the late Clayton Rager, she is survived by her children, Kenny Salsgiver of Mays Landing, NJ, Cindy Rager-Hovermann & her husband Fred of Stow Creek, NJ and Donna Sanger & her husband Jon of South Harrison Twp., daughter-in-law, Carole Rager of South Harrison Twp., six grandchildren, JJ Maiocco & her husband Lenny, Richard Rager, Alexa Burke & her husband Mike, Kurt Rager, Joel Sanger and Melissa Jarow & her husband David, two great grandchildren, Violet Maiocco, & Camryn Jarow and another great grandchild on the way. JoAnn was also predeceased by her son Clayton and her siblings, Zelma, Catherine, Margaret, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Lenora, Levi & Gail.

Family and Friends may visit from 9 AM to 11 AM on Friday, December 11th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJwhere a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown, NJ.
