Our dad, John J Bechta, III, born on February 1, 1958, was reunited with his parents John J. and Elizabeth M. (Fanelle) on July 13, 2019. Survived by his Daughters: Danielle (Chris Switzer), Gina, their mother Patrice; Sons: John J. IV, Mason, and their mother Bobbie Jean. Sister, Roxine Horner (Alan), Brothers, Jeff Bechta (Joselyn) and Mark Bechta (Doris). Graduate of Clearview Regional High School, class of 1976. Our Dad was an entrepreneur from an early age. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. After his father's passing, our father proudly owned and operated the family business, Pennsylvania Dutch Funnel Cake Company for many years. Tremendously fond memories were made during those years. Cremation is under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Mantua NJ. A celebration of our dad’s life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Red Bank Battlefield, 100 Hessian Avenue, National Park, NJ 08063. In lieu of flowers, please do a kind deed, share a memory, or prepare one of our dad’s favorite dishes-chicken cutlets.
