John M Jankovits, Jr., age 83 of Deptford,NJ died Saturday, December 29, 2012.
Originally from Philadelphia, he lived in Deptford for the past 40 years.  A US Army veteran from the Korean War,  he was a life member of the Mantua VFW Post 7679 and  a former POW.  John loved to visit the casinos  and will be remembered  by everyone for his sense of humor.
Husband of Eleanor (nee Exler), he is also survived by his sister Jeanette (Charles) Drubleski and many nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his sister, Bish. 
Relatives and friends may visit with the family 10-11 AM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Smith Funeral Home,47 Main St., Mantua, NJ  where funeral services will be held at 11 AM  Interment will be in Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.
