Obituary for John Robert Kilpatrick

John Robert Kilpatrick (Bob) age 66, of West Deptford passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was raised in Southwest Philadelphia until the age of 11 when he moved to West Deptford, NJ. Bob graduated from West Deptford High School with the Class of 1973 and attended Catawba College in North Carolina as well as Gloucester County College in New Jersey. He became a Certified Respiratory Therapist through the Gloucester County Program and then went on to work in that field for the Kennedy Health System. A voracious reader, he studied the Bible extensively and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was an accomplished home chef and a die-hard Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles Fan who loved fishing and the mountains. He loved music, especially Christian Music and 70's bands like the Allman Brothers, the Moody Blues, The Marshall Tucker Band, and the Charlie Daniels Band.

Bob is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kilpatrick (nee Gettings), four children, Christian Murphy & his wife Kim of Sewell, Briana Murphy of West Deptford, Sean Kilpatrick & his wife Allison of Medford, & Daniel Kilpatrick of Westville; in addition to five grandchildren, Christian Jr., Brandon & Matthew Murphy, and Adeline & Josephine Kilpatrick; brothers Michael Kilpatrick & his wife Sherry, Paul Wallowitch & his wife Terri, & Bernard Wallowitch. He is also survived by his mother in-law Doris Gettings, and brothers-in-law Steve Gettings & his wife Cathy, Tim Gettings & his wife Debbie, Chris Gettings & his wife Jeanette, and Matt Gettings & his wife Mari; and his sister-in-law, Jenni O'Brien & her husband Rich; as well as many nieces & nephews. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Lorraine Infanti (nee Windmiller) and her husband Bill Infanti, and his Dad, Paul Wallowitch, Sr.

Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday, January 24th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 12 pm. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
