Obituary for John E. Kraus Jr.

John E. Kraus, Jr. (Jack) 74, of Mantua NJ, died Fri. June 24, 2005 at home with his family.

Mr. Kraus had been a resident of Mantua for 56 years. He was a member of the Centre City Volunteer Fire Company and served as chief for 14 years, he was also a member of the Masons-Mantua Lodge F & AM No. 95.

Husband of Theresa (nee Bugno). he is survived by his son John E Kraus III and his wife Donna of West Deptford NJ, Son-in-law Vincent Pagano of NY, NY. Brother William J. Kraus and his wife Joan of Williamstown NJ, 5 Grandchildren Deanna, Donna, Ashley, Benjamin, and William and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Deborah Pagano.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family 6 to 9 P.M. Wed. June 29th, and Thursday 9 to 10 at the Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, N.J. Funeral Service will be at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery Monroe Twp. NJ. As an expression of sympathy contributions can be made to the Centre City Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 365, Mantua, NJ. 08051.
