John Edward Ranson Sr. age 65, of Malaga passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Leatha Grace Ranson. John was a pillar in the community, donating his time at the food bank as well as being a trustee member of Malaga church. He brought a smile to everyone’s face with his big heart. He was an award winning artist and avid Eagles fan. One of his passions was making wine and sharing his creations with family and friends. John always knew where the BEST food was and knew exactly how to make you laugh. He was all about his family, his friends and his heart was always filled by his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, sons, John Jr. & his wife Heather, Clifton & his wife, Elizabeth, grandchildren, Jake, Ryan, Cole, Elena, Mason, Madison, Aidan, Trenton and Riley and siblings, Lou, Wayne, Stephen, Leatha, Nick and Jimmy.

Family and Friends may visit from 1 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, June 19th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 3 pm. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
