Obituary for Jonathan Curtis Schlichtig

Jonathan Curtis Schlichtig (Ponny) age 39, of Thorofare passed away Monday, October 8th, 2018. A resident of West Deptford his whole life, Jon was a standout athlete growing up. His natural talent was immeasurable. He excelled in baseball, wrestling and football.

Jon worked as a Flooring Installer. He was an overly exceptional hard worker, and a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his daughter. Lily was his world. If you ever saw them together, they were attached at the hip.

Jon was known for his laid back personality, his laugh, and overall demeanor. If you truly knew Ponny, words can’t explain him. He was one of a kind. He was loved and will be missed terribly.

Jonathan is survived by his daughter Liliana Isabella Schlichtig, father, Thomas Schlichtig, Sister Jennifer and husband Joseph Tripodi Jr, Brother Casey and wife Liz Schlichtig, nieces Morgan, Grace and Kaycee and nephews Matthew and Christopher. He was predeceased by his mother Marylou Schlichtig (nee Trucksess).
