Joseph W. Davis Sr. age 89, of Mickleton passed peacefully Monday, January 2, 2023. Joseph was retired from the Union where he worked in construction. Joseph enjoyed his time on the farm, mowing lawns, tinkering in the garden, and always offered a helping hand to people & local farmers.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Jean (nee Mossbrucker) Davis and sons Joseph Davis, Jr. and wife Joni, John A. Davis and wife Jamie, daughter Joy Davis, and adopted son Bill Banning. Also by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jacklyn, Joshua, Jessica, and EJ; great grandchildren Eian, Dominic, Sadie, Mark, Jaidan, Bella, and Skye; and his sister Nellie Schaffer. He was predeceased by his other nine siblings.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
