Joseph C. Griffin of Pitman, New Jersey passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 60. Joe was born to the late Charles and Berenice Griffin in Philadelphia and graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in 1978. He received his Associates Degree from Temple University. He went on to become an architectural designer. Joe took great pride in his skills and talent, as he worked at KB Design Group for over 30 years.

The simplest of life’s pleasures brought great joy to Joe. He loved an evening with friends, cold beer and good music around a bonfire or in the garage (Club Joe). He enjoyed pitching horseshoes and playing table tennis. He found his inner peace while working with plants, gardening and cooking. No one ever left Joe’s house hungry or thirsty. He loved to explore by taking long car rides or camping out in nature. He had an uncanny ability to find happiness in his daily activities. His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met.

Joe was an active 3rd Degree member in the Knights of Columbus Our Lady Queen of Peace Council in Pitman.

Joe is predeceased by his parents, first wife Charlene (nee Kuhnle), and brother Kenneth (Judy).

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Laureen (nee Sharp), his loving daughter Shannon and fiancé Nick Seagrave, brother Dennis (Nancy), stepdaughter Marissa, stepson Logan and many more family and friends.

Joe’s legacy will be best honored by living life to the fullest.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Joe's life on July 10, 2021 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 161 Pitman Avenue, Pitman, NJ 08071. Entrance is on Highland Terrace (lower level of the church).
