I am Josh's brother, Bobby Dotson. I loved Josh so much, he helped me when I was down. He always helps me when I need it. He was the best brother, I always looked up to him (well technically I looked down cause I was taller) anyways; I loved him SO MUCH, and I would do ANYTHING to get him back. I LOVE YOU JOSH!!!

Aunt Carolyn (Cleland)
Joshua played the piano in the most beautiful way. He easily beat me (his Aunt Carolyn) at Chess when he was 11 years old. It would have made me mad except that he was so gracious in winning. But he was so much more than what he did. His heart was huge in empathy toward the rest of us.. He really felt what other people were going through, and I feel that is why he had such a love for animals, because they could not talk for themselves. Joshua, you gave in the life just as you gave all during your life.
I wear my green bracelet for you - on my wrist and in my heart always.

I'm a mother to a Junior and a 7th grader in Clearview. Unfortunately, my children didn't know Josh, but his story has helped us, as a family, to talk about tragedy and the difficulties and challenges endured by high-schoolers, today. I can't imagine how his parents and family members feel right now, I am a complete stranger, and my heart is broken. I'm just so sorry. Joshua was a handsome young man and from reading his Memory Wall, clearly, he was a kind soul who was very loved. I'm so so sorry. You're in my prayers!

I was in Josh’s grade and I didn’t know him personally, but I certainly know that he was a very kind person. I am very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers will continue to go out to your family.
