Joshua Thomas Mobertz, 25, of Cherry Hill, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018. He was born November 8, 1992 to Donna Severino and Leon Mobertz. He was a boisterous child with a curiosity for tinkering with all household gadgets (and occasionally driving his older sisters a little crazy). His smile and laugh were contagious and never failed to brighten you day. Josh attended St. Peter’s School and Riverside Public Schools, where he played football and basketball and fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Danielle Mastrangelo. Josh graduated from Riverside High School in 2011 and later studied automotive technology at Pennco Tech.

Josh began his career alongside his father at Solid Surface Designs and later joined SARLO Corporation. When Josh wasn’t working and sharing laughs with his fellow fabricators and installers, he enjoyed working on cars, striving for his best self at the gym, watching movies, and making family excursions with his daughter, Carson.

Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mia. Josh is survived by his daughter Carson Danielle Mobertz and partner Danielle; his father Leon, mother Donna and her husband Stephen Severino; his sisters Charlene Leon, Lauren Mobertz, and Nicole and Melissa Severino; and his nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins in New Jersey, the U.S., and abroad.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St, Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral service will be held at 3:30 pm at Smith Funeral Home. A private interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Joshua Mobertz Memorial Fund for the benefit of Josh’s daughter, Carson. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home; donations can also be deposited directly to TD Bank, account number 4355965224.
