Obituary for Judith H Coles

Judith Coles (nee Hoff) age 83, of Mullica Hill passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was born in Jersey City and raised by the late Harold Hoff and Florence (nee Kent) in Bernardsville, NJ. Judith earned her bachelor's degree from Glassboro State College. She was a teacher for Harrison Twp. Schools where she was an art teacher and taught second grade. Judith loved antiques and went on to owning her own antique store, Sign of St. George in Mullica Hill. She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill and was a member of the Woman's Club of Mullica Hill, and the Mullica Hill Book Club. Judith was an artist and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and beach days in Sea Isle City, NJ.

Wife of the late Leon Leslie Coles, III, she is survived by her children, Renee L. Coles-Lonczak, Christine L. Lynch, Leon Leslie Coles, IV, & his wife Monique and Matthew L. Coles; ten grandchildren, Scott, Sean & Lacy Lynch, Edmond John Lonczak, Shane Lynch, Tanner Coles, Shamus Lynch, Connor Coles, Emma and Trent Coles; and two great grandchildren, Scott Lynch, Jr. & Theodore Thomas Lonczak. Judith was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Edmond Lonczak & Christopher Lynch, and her daughter-in-law Christin Coles.

Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Friday, January 27th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
