Obituary for Judith Ann Knapp

Judith Ann Knapp age 77, of Twinsburg, OH passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.  Born in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Fletcher Knapp and Leona (nee Harrington), she graduated from Hasbrouck Heights High School Class of 1964.  Judith (Judy) earned three bachelor’s degrees (Education, Bible, and Christian Education) from Barrington College Rhode Island.  She retired from Wilcox Primary School where she was a kindergarten teacher, and was the author of two children’s books, "Before the Beginning to Forevermore" and "Happy Merry Eastermas".  Judy was a faithful member of Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls, OH where she was a Sunday School teacher and was a part of a ministry that wrote letters to prisoners.  She also had a love for teddy bears and would give them out to people as an expression of sympathy or comfort. 

She is survived by her brother, Jerry Knapp & his wife Cathy, her sister, Joyce Hill, nieces & nephews, Steven Knapp & his wife Maria, Amy Williams & her husband Dan, Jay Knapp, Lisa Carroll & her husband Rick, Lori Knapp, Richard Hill & his wife Carol, Linda Bomberger & her husband Larry, Janet Hanrahan & her husband Tom, Barbara Ney & her husband Brian, and Nancy Magin & her husband Jeff, and many great nieces & nephews.  Judy was predeceased by her brother James Fletcher Knapp Jr., and her brother-in-law, Rowland Hill. 

Family and Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, March 2nd, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 am.  Interment will follow in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023.
