Julia Alloway (nee Murphy) age 72, of Mantua passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020. Julia was retired after 25 years working for the Mantua Township School System as a Custodian. She enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren, going out to eat, getting her hair and nails done, and working in her yard.

Julia is survived by her loving husband Roy Alloway; children, Edward Stivetts and Dorothy Casto; step children, Veronica Baudelle and Jason and Roy Alloway; grandchildren, Giovanni and Mariah Casto, Allie Baudelle and Jaxson Alloway; sisters, Mary Lassiter, and Patricia Murphy; as well as many extended family and friends. Julia was predeceased by her brother John Murphy.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Smith Funeral Home. Service at 11:15am with burial to follow at Bridgeport Cemetery 48 Main St, Bridgeport, NJ 08014.

Aunt Judy, you had a laugh that was roaring and a temper to match. That fire is what made you unique. I’m grateful for the times you helped my mother, me and Julia. I hope you are at peace and having a bbq in heaven with pop pop, mommom and uncle john.

Loyal,tenacious,...are some words that come to mind, to describe her. She loved," the shore",dancing,music. She never missed " a family gathering", was always there
when you needed her.

Many memories of my sister Judy. My sister was kind in more ways then I can say. She loved the summers in Wildwood music, shopping and dancing. Judy was the best jitterbug dancer I knew. Always ready to help at a moment notice. Judy will be missed by many. Miss you already Rest in Peace. Love ya your sister Mary
