Kenneth W. MacGregor, 85 years old of Barnsboro, passed away on January 11, 2020 after a short illness. He was a graduate of Dickinson College and later received his master’s degree in education from Glassboro State College. Starting out in Haddon Heights as a science teacher in high school, then went on to be Vice Principal then Principal and ending up as Superintendent before retiring in the early 90’s. He then went to work for Edmonds Scientific Company in Barrington where he remained for over 20 years, retiring in 2014 so he could spend more time gardening, which he loved to do. He also spent numerous years in National Guards early on, starting as a 2nd Lt. and ending there as a Major. Ken leaves behind his wife Kathy and two sons, Richard and David.

There will be no visitation. A private service for family members only will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees for their building fund. Their address is AWA, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.

Thoughts and prayers to your family during this time of loss. I hope it can you bring you peace to know that he touched many lives when he taught and principaled at Haddon Heights High School. I have fond memories of him being a kind, caring and funny person. I especially remember him calling me out when I was talking during a fire drill, but he was was calm and kind when he did this! Take gentle care and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Sorry for your loss of your husband/father. I can only imagine that he was a wonderful family man. I knew Mr. MacGregor as Principal of Haddon Heights High School (graduated 1984). He was a kind, fair man -- although I didn't see the inside of the principal's office -- he took it upon himself to know all of us and was always calling us by our first names as he walked the hallways. I hope you know all of his "kids" are a bit better for him dedicating himself to all of us and a bit sadder that he has passed.
