Larry E. Wenzel, Sr.  age 71, of Elk Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  Born in Woodbury, NJ to the late Frank L. Wenzel, Sr. and Pearl E. (nee Morgan), he graduated from West Deptford High School Class of 1970.   Larry retired from ABC Bus where he worked as a service manager.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horse racing, casino and trips to the Highland Park Fishing Camp in DeLand, FL with his friends and family.  



He is survived by his children Daniel Wenzel, Sr. & his wife Danielle, Michael Wenzel & his wife Jennifer, Joanne Nestor & her husband Robert, and Larry Wenzel, Jr. & his wife Le Ann, and their mother Joan S. Wenzel, grandchildren, Mirada & her husband McKenzy, Daniel, Jr., Joseph, Ashtyn, Kaylee, Blake, Julia, Thomas, Michael, & Parker, his great granddaughter Emma, his brother Frank L. Wenzel, Jr. & his wife Arlene, his brother-in-law Brad Crowther, and sister-in-law Carol Wenzel. Larry was predeceased by his grandson Jackson, and siblings Shirly Kozlowski, Joan Crowther, & Ronald Wenzel. 



Family and Friends may visit from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 7th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
