Obituary for Leslie Edward Kauffman

Leslie Edward Kauffman age 76, of Williamstown formerly of Glassboro passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, he graduated from Williamstown High School Class of 1961. Leslie served the Glassboro Police Department for nearly three decades retiring as Captain. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, photography, hypnosis, boating, RV traveling and making jewelry & rings out of coins.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret (nee Hinchliffe), two children, Peggy Lynne Stecklair (David) and Paul Kauffman (Kim), grandchildren, David Stecklair (Mariya), Stefanie Camp (Tim), Paige Stecklair, Jacob, Zachary, Kristal and Jadyne Kauffman, great grandson, Samuel Camp and his sister-in-law, Bunny Kauffman. Leslie was predeceased by his siblings, Geraldine Sinn, Dolores Reel, Harriet Hollywood and Joseph Kauffman.

Visitation for family and friends is scheduled on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Williamstown Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
