Lillian P. (Gallagher) Coles age 66, of Mantua passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 with family by her side. She was born in Mantua which she was a lifelong resident. She previously worked as a crossing guard and school bus aide for many years. She was a member of Mantua VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Wife of the late Edwin A. Coles Sr., Lilly is survived by sons Edwin A. Jr (Linda), Bill (Nicole), 3 grandchildren Billy, Joseph, and Kasey. Also survived by sisters: Katherine Carpenter, Mildred Gambogi, Mary Ramer, Edna (Fred) Nolte, ; Brothers: Duke, James, Joe, William (Carol), Raymond (Marlene), Charles (Linda) & Thomas Gallagher. Predeceased by brothers John, Leonard, Lindley, George & sister Emma. She is a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit Monday April 21st from 9 AM to 11 AM at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery.
