Obituary for Linda Kopcha (Stanley)

Linda Kopcha age 72, of West Deptford, NJ, formerly of Canonsburg, PA passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023.  Born in Decatur, IL to the late Charles Stanley and Georgia (nee MacDuffie), she graduated from Our Lady of Grace Academy in 1968.  Linda earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from St. Mary of the Woods in Terre Haute, IN.  She was formerly a job placement specialist for Washington Greene County Job Training Agency in PA and was an administrator for her family business, Recycle Fiber Solutions.  Linda was a fun-loving, compassionate, and devoted mother and friend. She had a sharp intellect, a great sense of humor and a broad range of interests. She was an avid reader, skilled conversationalist, wine lover, and a gifted interior decorator. Linda had a phenomenal sense of style, loved to shop, and would stop at nothing to locate the perfect pair of shoes or accessories. Always ready for adventure, she loved going on cruises and traveling around the world or planning the next amazing trip.  Most of all Linda loved her husband, children, their spouses, and adored her grandson.  She will be missed.  



She is survived by her husband Dennis Kopcha; her son, Scott Kopcha & his wife Kat of Burlington, MA; her daughter, Erica Kopcha & her husband John Manning of West Deptford, NJ; her grandson, Ethan Manning; her sister, Marsha Mongell & her husband Les, and her grand dog, Thor.  Linda was predeceased by her sister, Beth Norris. 



Family and friends may visit from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, May 25th and from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Friday May 26th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua at 11 am. Interment will be private.
