Louis E.  Ilgandi
Louis E. Ilgandi age 94, of Mullica Hill formerly of North Bergen passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019. Born in New York City to the late Edward Ilgandi and Caroline (Paturzo), he graduated from Memorial High School Class of 1943 in West New York. Louis was a WWII Air Force Veteran. He retired from the US Postal Service where he was a mailman in West New York, NJ. Louis enjoyed fishing, gardening and various sports. He ran a youth basketball league, coached boys baseball and girls softball, umpired Little League through high school for 25 years, and enjoyed watching track and field events.

He is survived by three children, Edward Ilgandi and his wife Victoria of Roebuck, SC, Mary Lou Salvador of Mullica Hill, NJ, Michael Ilgandi of Raleigh, NC, and six grandchildren, Louis, Michael, Mallory, Marissa, Nicholas and Alexis. He was predeceased by several siblings.

Family and Friends may visit from 11 am to 12 pm on Saturday, May 11th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 12 pm. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Louis's name to the charity of your choice.
