Obituary for Madeline Spencer Spencer Caltagirone

Madeline Spencer Caltagirone, age 81 of Wenonah, on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at home.Born in Woodbury, she grew up there and graduated from Woodbury High School. Madeline lived in Wenonah since 1958. She was an active member of the Forty & Eight, the Oak Valley Friendly Seniors, and enjoyed traveling. She had been an executive secretary for the Rohm & Haas Corp. Wife of Peter P. Caltagirone, she is also survived by her daughter Sandra L. Leckrone of Rosemont, PA, 3 step children, Joann Schneider, Peter Jr. & Dennis Caltagirone, 9 grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Charles Spencer in 1994, and recently by her brother Robert Littleton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 7 to 9 PM Wednesday and 10 to 11 AM Thursday at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
