Obituary

Margaret Mary Hogate age 89, of National Park passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at home. Born in Shickshinny, PA to the late George Hicks and Ruth (Carpenter), she graduated from Haddon Heights High School Class of 1948. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, taking care of her home, traveling and cruises.

Wife of the late Earl C. Hogate, she is survived by her daughters, Donna Betanski & her husband Mark of Leland NC, Debra Smith & her husband John of Manassas VA, Diane Favretto & her husband Rich of West Deptford NJ, Danielle DeCook & her husband Matthew of Middletown DE; grandchildren, Ashley Betanski, Lindsay Betanski, Stephanie Smith, Courtney (Sebastian) Schneider, Alexis Favretto, Sean (Amy) Favretto, Madison DeCook, Kendall DeCook, Reece DeCook; great grandchildren, Benjamin Schneider, Sophia Favretto and Nicholas Favretto. She was predeceased by her brothers, James Hicks and George Hicks, Jr.

Funeral arrangements are private and burial will take place in Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken, NJ. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N. Delsea Dr., Clayton, NJ 08312.
