Obituary

On Saturday, June 13, 2020, Marilyn "Mimi" Shute Willetts decided COPD was not for her and went to join her parents, brother & Bently in heaven.

Mimi was the most amazing wife to Eugene "Tuna Jack" Willetts for 52 years. In those 52 years, she had two children, John Kevin Willetts and his wife Miranda and Melissa "Missy" Henkel and her spouse Edward. She was blessed with four amazing grandchildren, Joshua Henkel, Jacob Willetts, Madison Henkel & Luke Willetts.

Marilyn was the owner of Majek Fire Protection for 34 years. She worked hard and made a name for herself in a male dominated industry.

She was also a past Matron of the Eastern Star for the Pitman Chapter.

Mimi was blessed with lifelong friends and enjoyed life.

So, we raise a Southern Comfort Manhattan straight up with a twist to an absolutely amazing, funny and loving woman. You will truly be missed.

Mimi, I didn’t know of your passing until yesterday when Ed told my grandson. Met you when I started dating your brother in 1963, we were sisters in law for a long time and had lots of good times and laughs. You had a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. My prayers for Jack and your family, I know they will miss you. Tell Mel I love him and we miss him everyday..

I worked for Marilyn for over 10 years! She was a wonderful woman! My fondest memory was when she took us to sight and sound. A day I will certainly never forget! Rest In Peace! My deepest condolences to Jack, Missy, Ed, Josh, Maddie, Kevin, Miranda and the boys!💕

I don't even know where to begin. Marilyn was my second mother at times. She was my boss for awhile. She could be a drinking buddy that would make you fall off your chair laughing. I'm not sure how you sum up all the things she was to me for 45 yrs..
Jack, Missy, Ed, Maddie, & Josh I'm so sorry for your loss.
