Mary Jane Warfle (Sockwell) December 24, 1931 – October 4, 2020
Mary Jane went home to her LORD on Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was raised in Port Norris, NJ and attended Millville High School. She married Dayton F. Warfle and resided in Dividing Creek, NJ until 1971 when she and Dayton moved to West Deptford, NJ. She was always an active member of her community and ran Warfle Insurance Agency along with her husband until they sold the business. She has volunteered at numerous service organizations, especially the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries Food Bank at 330 W. Barber Avenue, Woodbury. She was employed for the last 12 years by Inspira Medical Center Woodbury in Guest Relations up until 2019 when they relocated to Mullica Hill and she retired at the age of 88. Mary Jane was a member of Kemble United Methodist Church in Woodbury where she served faithfully in all aspects. She was willing to help anyone at any time and could never say no. She spread love and faith wherever she went. Mary Jane was an icon to her family and an example of how to care for humankind.
Mary Jane’s love for her God and her family was limitless. She cherished every moment with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never met a stranger and to know her was to love her.
Mary Jane is predeceased by her husband Dayton F. Warfle and her sister Betty Dixon (Sockwell). She has three loving children, Dayton F. Warfle, Jr. (Kathy Lynn), B. Kathy Duffield (Bob), Linda M. Caruccio (Tom), grandchildren Jaime Eaton (Matt), Lisa Warfle, Patrick Warfle (Christina), Robert Duffield II (Michelle), Bryan S. Duffield (Jenna Leah), Amanda Caruccio and Danielle Caruccio. She had 9 great grandchildren with #10 arriving in December 2020, and many nieces and nephews. To say she will be missed is an understatement.
