Obituary for Mary C. "Kate" Phillips

Mary C. Phillips "Mary Kate" age 65, of Mantua passed away suddenly on Monday, April 18, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Richard Phillips, Sr., and Marion (nee Mucerino). Mary Kate was a faithful member of Church of the Incarnation in Mantua. She was a Philadelphia Sports Fan and especially loved the Eagles & Phillies. Mary Kate enjoyed listening to country music and was a caregiver to her family, friends, and neighbors. Everyone knew her as "Aunt Kate".

Mary Kate is survived by her brother, Richard Phillips & his wife Jocelyn; sisters, Marion Frank, Marlene Older & her husband Stephen, Madalyn Sawickey & her husband Robert; nieces and nephews, Richard (Kathy) Phillips III, Charles (Jennifer) Frank, Christine (John) Evans, Kevin (Tina) Phillips, Stephen (Reenie) Phillips, Michael Sawickey, Amanda (Ted) Stanko, Taylor Sawickey, Rachel (Lee) Hellinger, Melissa Older; great nieces and nephews, Alexis Phillips, Marissa (Brandon) Phillips, Alivia (Elmer) Rhodes, Kevin Phillips Jr., Nicklas Anderson, Hannah Anderson, Alayna Phillips, Stephen Phillips Jr., Liam Evans; and great great niece, Elizabeth Phillips. Mary Kate was predeceased by her sister, Marie Phillips.

Family and Friends may visit from 6 pm to 8 pm on Sunday, April 24th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ and from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Monday, April 25th at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
