Matthew F. Donovan, age 39, passed away suddenly on April 6, 2020. Matt was born in Mantua NJ on July 29, 1980, where he attended Mantua Twp. elementary schools and graduated from Clearview Regional High School, Class of 1999. Matt had resided in Paulsboro for the last 5 years and was employed as a truck driver and also has his own landscaping/stump removal business.

Matt was a hard worker who loved boating, crabbing, barbecuing, throwback music, skiing, holidays with the family and all sports, especially his Philadelphia Eagles. Matt was an amazing man with a great smile, one of a kind personality and always had a way to make you laugh or smile. He was always there when you needed him no matter what. Nothing gave Matt greater joy then being an amazing uncle to his niece and nephew as they were always in his thoughts. He loved coming home everyday and spending time with his dog or taking car rides with her whenever he could.

Matt is survived by his mother Kathleen Blomquist, father Bill and Karen Donovan, sisters, Lauren and Sarah, brother Bill (Fiancé Marie) nephew Aiden, niece Addison, grandmother Catherine Donovan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A gathering to remember Matt will be planned for the future. Incarnation church will hold a mass in Matt’s name on May 19th at 10am live on their site/Facebook.
