Maureen D. Schwenk age 80, of "Sewell" Mantua Twp. passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Walter Kula and Frances (Kaminski), she graduated from Larksville High School Class of 1957. Maureen retired from Kmart in Mantua after 22 years of service and then worked at Bed Bath and Beyond in Deptford for 21 years. She was a dedicated employee and in her spare time she enjoyed fashion and the thrill of a good bargain, she took great pride in the care of her home & garden, loved holidays especially Christmas, spoiling her grandchildren, summers outside, the Jersey shore and spending time with her family.

Wife of the late David W. Schwenk, she is survived by her children, Kimberly Noel Schwenk of Deptford, David Schwenk II, two granddaughters, Rachael Elise Hummel, and Chelsea Renee Hummel, and her brother, John Kula of Union Springs, NY. Maureen was predeceased by her siblings, Florence Nice of Wilmington, DE, Theresa Mesaros of Matthews, NJ and Jean Jantz of Exton, PA.

Family and Friends may visit from 12 pm to 1 pm on Wednesday, February 26th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm. Interment will be private. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to the SNJ Go Red for Women, American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691, make checks payable to American Heart Assoc., in memo write, SNJGRFW in memory of Maureen D.
