I Knew Mike H. (Michael David Hacuk) for over 20 years
He was part of the win3break3 group of tennis players

Initially Mike would NEVER play with women, he had is own reasons
of which had very little to do with gender or ability

As I have mentioned in a few conversations so far with others, it is very amazing what tennis players talk about during and after match play sitting court side. Mike and I shared a lot about religion, education, cultural differences, popular current events, and intimate personal life situations

Many may think Mike was irascible, difficult, unpleasant, mean, some of which he was, but those adjectives were I believe deflections of a deeper feeling person

He was very protective of his feels and he did care about others. I was very sad to hear of his death only having spoken with him in late May and him telling me he would have to “lay off the schedule” for a while, because he could not grip is racquet due to arthritis in his hands and he was seeing a Doctor in Delaware, at the VA hospital.

Little did I know, that may have been Mike’s way of saying good bye, because he passed June 3rd
Again I will miss him , his demeanor , comments, beliefs and his courage to live life after, the hands dealt him along the way, rest in peace Mike H. I and believe it or not many others will truly miss you

And Mike, yes you will have to wear a shirt in heaven (smile)
