Obituary for Michael T. Murphy
Michael T. Murphy age 66, formerly of Mantua, NJ, currently of Woodbury, NJ passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph Murphy and Regina (nee Herron), he graduated from Clearview Regional High School Class of 1976. Mike enjoyed fishing, antique & muscle cars, old John Wayne movies, watching football and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, JoAnn Murphy (nee Pinto), two daughters Michele and Brittany Murphy, seven grandchildren Brian Fahy Jr., Matthew Murphy, Serenity Murphy, Kingsley Hasselman, Paul Hasselman Jr., Miliodas & Mia Mor Murphy, his siblings Regina Allen (Fran), Joseph Murphy (Patricia), Mark Murphy (Sue), Gailanne Hoffman, Maureen Manes (James), and Mary Kay Jenzano (Michael), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike was predeceased by his daughter Kathryn Murphy.
Relatives and friends may visit from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Monday, December 18th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 7:30 pm.
