Oliver P. Lambert III age 76, of Clarksboro formerly of Mantua Twp. passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born in Cooper Hospital in Camden to the late Oliver P. Lambert Jr. and Virginia (Lamb), His parents were schoolteachers which allowed Oliver and his family to spend summers in Stone Harbor. He graduated from Haddon Heights High School Class of 1962 and attended Bucknell University and earned his bachelor’s degree. After college Oliver joined the US Army and was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He retired from this family business, Lamb Brothers in Philadelphia which is now Staples. In his spare time, he enjoyed skiing, reading, playing handbells and playing cards, especially bridge. Oliver was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Woodbury Heights and one of his biggest joys was teaching adult Sunday School. Most of all he loved his family and adored his four grandchildren.
Oliver is survived by his wife Helen "Fran" Lambert (Wheaton), three daughters, Kim Lambert Sharp & her husband Doug of Mantua, Michelle "Miki" Bogert & her husband Roger of Palm Harbor, FL, and Kelly Sammacicci & her husband Nick of Mantua, four grandchildren, Josh, Isabella, Nicky & Zack, and his two sisters, Jean Hills & her husband Fred of West Deptford and Doris Lambert of Pitman.
