Condolence: Anyone who has ever felt Paul's culinary love can tell you that you were witnessing him in his most happy place, rivaled only by taking baby Santos to McDonalds on Tuesdays. I was a lucky recipient of his talent for making you feel truly cared for. He always remembered the little things. How you took your coffee or the kind of fresh baked goods you loved. Nothing escaped his ability to entertain family and friends. I always came up short trying to master his flair, perhaps I should have added more love, like he did.

His kindness went way beyond merely feeding all of those in his life. I was told he taught his next door neighbor's daughter how to drive. Years later she was attending a very prestigious university in the UK and upon learning that he would be attending the Eagles game, in London, invited him to visit her campus. I hope he felt super special knowing that she wanted to share part of her "grown up" life with him. A sweet tribute to the guy who taught her to drive.

Paul was a man of few words, but that's OK cause I have loads. At more than a few family gatherings I would engage him in conversation and I always knew how much he enjoyed listening to me because I was told that, upon my departure he would always remark "man can she talk". I could be wrong but I took it as a compliment. I enjoyed the panic on his face when I sat next to him. Luckily, he could announce that a pot was boiling over on the stove and make his escape. I will treasure every word we exchanged.

Unfortunately, Covid keep me from a final visit. I will always regret not seeing him one last time.

Paul, you touched a lot of people and I hope everyone remembers how much you cared.

You remain, always kind, always thoughtful, always remembered.
