Obituary for Peter A. Caldes

Peter A.  Caldes
Peter Caldes age 52, of Mantua Twp. passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at home. He was born in Jersey City to the late Peter Caldes and Helen (Alexopoulos). He graduated from Vineland High School Class of 1985 and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Rowan University. Pete formerly was a Film Producer for NFL Films and was currently a Realtor for Keller Williams. He had a passion for managing his personal properties in Ventnor and Philadelphia and rehabbing homes. Pete was a great lover of music, his favorites being The Beatles, The Doors, and Dean Martin. Pete was a great athlete and loved sports, especially baseball and followed the Phillies and Red Sox and all Philadelphia sports teams. Pete's fun, easy-going personality and quick wit made him beloved by his many friends and family. Most of all Pete was an adoring husband and father. There was nothing he wouldn't do for his wife and children, always going out of his way to make them feel special and loved.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Caldes (Hallman), three children, Jack, Devon, and Max, his sister, Diane Corbett and her husband Leo, his brother, Charles Caldes, and his mother-in-law, Anna Marie Hallman. Pete was predeceased by his father-in-law, James Hallman.

Family and Friends may visit from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, August 22nd, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, and Friday, August 23rd, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Church Of The Incarnation, 240 Main Street, Mantua, where a funeral Mass will be held at 11 am. Prior to the Mass, Peter's wife Jennifer will be delivering a Eulogy at 10:50 am. Interment will be private.
