Obituary for Randel F. Ramey Sr.
Randel Franklin Ramey Sr. of Clayton NJ passed away on Friday February 25, 2022 at the age of 85.
He was born to George Washington and Mary Helen (Decker) Ramey on December 22, 1936. He was just 1 of 12 brothers and sisters. For most of his life he worked as a carpenter. He was a big fan of Dirt Track Racing at Bridgeport Speedway for many many years and was well known there. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR Racing, old westerns, and classic comedy shows.
He was preceded in death by his parents George W and Mary Helen Ramey, 4 brothers, and 6 sisters.
He is survived by his Son Randel Ramey Jr (wife Staci), and their children Taylor and Jakob. Daughter Carol Ramey, and her children Anthony Rivera, and Msgt Thomas Rivera. Three great-grandchildren Audrina (Thomas), Bambina and Nicholas (Anthony), one living sister Mary Elizabeth, and many nieces and nephews and their children.
The family has asked for no viewing or service. Cremation will be handled by Smith Funeral Home in Mantua Township NJ and scattering of ashes will be done privately.
