Raymond E. Stout, Jr. age 80, of West Deptford, NJ passed away at home on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Raymond E. Stout, Sr. and Etta (nee Miller), he was an Electrical Engineer for the Sunoco Plant in West Deptford. Ray was a world traveler who enjoyed oil painting, hunting, fishing, crabbing, water & snow skiing, dancing, bowling, and trips to the casinos.
Husband of the late Cookie Stout (nee Coughlin), he is survived by his children, Jean Lafferty of Woodbury, Jill Pippet of West Deptford, and Janet Kates of Paulsboro; nine grandchildren, Amanda Kates, Anthony Kates, Alyssa Kates, Colin Lafferty, Chase Lafferty, Chelsea Pippet, Shian Pippet, Thomas Pippet Jr., and William Pippet; six great grandchildren, and his sister, Henrietta Sauter.
Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday, May 26th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery. Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
