Obituary for Rev. Dr. William H. Moyer

Rev. Dr. William H.  Moyer
Rev. Dr. William H. Moyer, age 80 of Marlton, NJ went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 13, 2013 with his family by his side. Born on September 27, 1933 in Williamstown, PA to Howard and Mildred (nee Haskins) Moyer, he graduated from Collingswood High School and then Asbury College in Wilmore, KY. He received his Bachelor of Divinity, Masters of Theology and Doctorate from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.
Rev. Moyer served in various churches in the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church for over 40 years and he was actively involved in several fire companies in the communities in which he served.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ragnhild (nee Brandvik) Moyer and he was the devoted father to their three sons, Mark (Elizabeth) Moyer of Elverson, PA, Eric (Denise) Moyer of Midland, MI and Todd (Allyson) Moyer of Jackson, NJ, and loving grandfather to Erin, Kirsten, Michael, Matthew, Stephen, Ashley, & Kayla. He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Sirman.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family 6-9 pm Wednesday, October 16 and 10 - 11 AM Thursday, October 17 at First United Methodist Church of Moorestown, 446 Camden Avenue, Moorestown, NJ where services will he held at 11 AM. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ. Memories and condolences may be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions in William's memory may be made to Centenary Fund & Preachers' Aid Society (CFPAS), Greater New Jersey Annual Conference, 1001 Wickapeck Drive, Ocean, NJ 07712 or to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053 or to the church of your choice.
