Richard E. Lescure age 86, of Mantua passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Born in Woodbury to the late Marvin Lescure and Marie (nee Hardeski), he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Rich retired from Bell Atlantic Phone Company where he was an installer. Rich was a Mason, and a member of Somerdale VFW Post #7334 and Mantua VFW Post #7679. In his spare time, Rich enjoyed painting, taking care of his home, planting flowers, fishing, music and the Mummers.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy C. Lescure (nee Bromley), his son, Richard E. Lescure Jr. of Mantua, and his brothers, Franklin Lescure and Leonard Lescure (Diane). Rich was predeceased by his daughters, Donna Marie and Lori Ann Lescure, two brothers, Marvin and James Lescure, and his sister-in-law, Barbara Lescure.

Relatives and Friends may visit from 9:30 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday, December 19th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hurffville.
