Obituary for Robert D. Holt

Robert D. Holt age 66, of Mantua Twp. formerly of West Deptford and Marlton passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born in Woodbury to the late Robert L. Holt and Eleanor Holt (Geitz), he grew up in Wenonah and graduated from Gateway High School Class of 1972. Bob attended Glassboro State College (Rowan University) and worked at Columbia Records which became Sony Music for 30 years. He loved music especially the Eagles, Glenn Frey & Don Henley and some of his favorite entertainers were David Letterman and Rick Flair. Bob loved to read and of his favorite authors were Steven King and Carl Hiaasen. He wrote two books, "Views from the Cheap Seats" and "A Field Guide to Homeland Stupidly."

Bob is survived by his cousins, Donald Fiske (Denise) and Holly Rafferty (Rudy) & their families and his cat Gardenia.

Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Wednesday, June 2nd, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Wenonah Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Wenonah Free Public Library, 101 E.
