Obituary for Robert G. "Bob" Lisle

Robert G. Lisle "Bob" age 87, of Sewell passed peacefully Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Bob was born in Woodbury to William and Violet (Somers) Lisle, Sr., graduated from Pitman HS class of 1955, and spent 35 years working as an Electrician for DuPont (Repauno). During these years and into his retirement, Bob dedicated 40 years both driving for Mantua Livery Service and serving as a Funeral Assistant at Smith Funeral Home. He was an active member of Mantua UMC, where he served in multiple capacities over the years. Notably, he enjoyed being a member of both the bowling and softball teams, serving as head usher, and helping spearhead the annual Golf Tournament, which raised money for multiple key initiatives within the Church. Bob also appreciated his leisure time. Through the years, Bob enjoyed firefighting, hunting, coaching Little League, playing tennis, camping, woodworking, and photography. In his later years, he was often found on the golf course. What was consistent was his love of the Green Bay Packers and coaching them from his recliner.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Muriel Lisle (nee Toce) and children: Debbie (Rich) Sullivan, Colleen (Denny) Halter, Patty (Kenny) Graf, Scott (Kristen) Lisle, and Lori (Paul Sr.) Brooks. Grandchildren: Emily Sullivan, Jennifer Bryant, Moira (Gunnar) Fox, Meghan Sullivan, Samantha Conover, Charlene (Daniel) Lee, Mark (Luiza) Cliver, Ricky Sullivan, Kasey Cliver, Patrick Brooks, Madeleine Lisle, Steffie Graf, Cpl.
