Robert Patrick Rhodes age 64, on Oct. 31, 2018, son of Dusty and Norma Jean, husband of Carol, father of Ryan, brother of Bill, Pop with the green truck to Aiden and Alex and best friend to Rich Dolan, died from undiagnosed heart disease.

Bob Rhodes loved his family, playing golf at Pitman and gardening. He could fix almost anything. He could also recite every line of dialogue from his 2 favorite movies: Field of Dreams and Dances with Wolves, including the Indian parts.

Coming from a small family, he was thrilled Ryan married Jenna Ross, whose dowry was a large welcoming Irish family from Gloucester. Bob Rhodes was a good man who left us much too soon, but his legacy lives on through Ryan Patrick Rhodes, the son he loved so much. He was so proud of the man Ryan became and the beautiful family he and Jenna created.

In an effort to spare another family from experiencing our grief, all his usable body organs were donated.

Bobby was loved, and he will be greatly missed. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018 and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Monday, November 5th at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am.
