Robert F. Rolf age 67, of Newfield passed unexpectedly Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He retired with Iron Workers Union Local 401 where he took pride mastering his skills on jobs like Liberty One, Lincoln Financial Field, Comcast 1 & 2, the Navy Yard, the Ben Franklin Bridge and the Philadelphia Airport and Control Tower. Known as "The Legend", he had great respect and fondness from his brother ironworkers. Always calm and cool, and a good friend to everyone. 

Robert was born on 1/11/56 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Walter J. Rolf Sr. and Cecilia C. (nee Duffy) Rolf. Robert enjoyed spending his time working on cars, crabbing, hunting, and fishing. And at any given time, you could find him in his pole barn where he had a collection of treasured possessions. He also loved spending time with his family - and being PopPop was his favorite title. 

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Holly (nee Shipley) of 49 years, daughters, Tammy Pintimalli and her husband, Vince, Michelle Cassidy and her husband, Dave, and two grandchildren, Devyn, and Connor Cassidy. Also, by his sisters, Brenda Morano (Larry), Linda Nelson (Al) and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Rolf Jr. He was reunited with his precious son, Robert (Bobby) F. Rolf, Jr.

Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his devoted wife, Holly Rolf at 40 Malaga Lake Blvd, Malaga NJ 08328.
