Obituary for Ronnie A. Madison

Ronnie A. Madison age 61, of Mantua Twp. NJ passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. He was born in Pennsauken, NJ and formerly lived in Camp Hill, PA. Ronnie served in US Air Force Reserves, and was a Project Administrator for KDA Architects in Voorhees, NJ. Ronnie enjoyed visiting historic sites, going to the beach, and amusement parks. He took pride in his home and invested the time and energy it took to transform his home and yard into a safe oasis for his family and friends. He liked to create things for others to enjoy such as the elaborate train set he erected in the basement for his grandchildren. Ron loved to decorate for Halloween and he cherished the family tradition of going out to cut down a Christmas tree and bring it home. Afterward he would spend several hours setting up the tree, train set and Christmas Village. Ron possessed a quiet strength, he faced his illness with bravery, humor and dignity until the end.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Kelley), his daughter, Tara Madison, his son Evan A. Madison, 2 grandchildren Dylan and Skylar Madison, his mother, Frances Smith and his brother, Tom Madison. Ronnie was predeceased by his sister, Gail Hall.

Family and Friends may visit from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 20th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
