Obituary for Rosemarie Ginipro Simmons

Rosemarie Simmons (Ginipro) age 92, and affectionally called Honey by many, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Born at home on a buffalo farm in Grenloch, NJ to the late Frank and Rose Ginipro. The Ginipro family eventually settled in Paulsboro where she graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1944. She raised her own family in Paulsboro before moving to Mullica Hill, after the passing of her husband Bud. Rosemarie loved her time working at Mobil Research, retiring in 1990. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and their families, crocheting throw blankets, completing word searches, and she relished in her frequent trips to the casinos in Atlantic City.

Wife of the late John G. (Bud) Simmons Jr, she is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Redmond of Pitman, three grandchildren, Kimberly Williams (Brett) of Pitman, James Redmond (Dana) of Germantown, North Carolina, and Mark Simmons (Emily) of Sewell, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, as well as dear friends, Bobby and Donna Sheppard and their children. Rosemarie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, John G. Simmons III., her grandson, John G. Simmons IV., and all 7 of her siblings.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, January 31, 2020 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 339 Swedesboro-Paulsboro Road, Woolwich Twp., NJ at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to American Veterans at https://amvets.org
