Obituary for Rosemary Manzo

Rosemary Manzo age 86, of Mantua, formerly of Collingswood, passed away at home with her family around her on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  Born in Philadelphia, to the late Rocco Casciato and Rose (nee Bottaro), she graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School Class of 1956. She attended every gathering since, including their 65th Class Reunion in 2021. In 1958 she married her childhood sweetheart, Frank Manzo,and together had two sons, Louis and Joseph.

Rosemary was a determined businesswoman and sharp in every sense of the word. She worked for RCA early on before turning her focus to raising her boys full-time. She returned to the workforce in her 40’s, working for Subaru of America and eventually retiring from the Diocese of Camden, where she served as an Executive Secretary at their Marriage Tribunal.

In retirement, she began every day with her coffee and crossword puzzles. Rosemary was a history buff and trivia connoisseur. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy nightly with her husband and was an amazing cook.  Most of all, Rosemary loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandson. 

She is survived by her husband, Frank Manzo; two sons, Louis Manzo & his wife, Joanna of Mullica Hill, and Joseph Manzo of Woodbridge; four grandchildren, Talia Sacco & her husband, Gaetano of Mullica Hill, Alexis Zuccato & her wife, Lauren of Deptford, Marissa Manzo of Mt. Laurel, Max Manzo of Cherry Hill; her great grandson, Adrian Sacco; and her brother, Joseph “Bruddy” Casciato & his wife, Rita of Roxborough, PA. Rosemary was predeceased by her sister, Victoria Schmidt. She was also dearly loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
