Sandra S. Dunn 88, formerly of Wenonah and West Deptford passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Born in Woodbury to the late J. Orris Sowers and Marion (nee Mattson) she was a graduate of Woodbury High School Class of 1951. Sandy earned her bachelor's degree from Bucknell University and became an elementary school teacher at Wenonah Elementary. In the mid 1970’s the family lived in Brazil for two years. After returning, Sandy volunteered at St. John of God and was Volunteer of the Year one year and also on Gateway High school board. Her hobbies included reading, book clubs, doing crosswords. Sandy also loved cats & flowers.

Wife of the late George Dunn Jr., she is survived by her two sons, George Dunn III, & his wife Julann and Sam Dunn & his wife Colleen, four grandchildren, Gwendolyn Hostetler & her husband Jacob, Kayla Dunn, Kendall Dunn, & Kelsey Dunn, and one great granddaughter, Tessa.

A memorial service will be held at the Wenonah Presbyterian Church, 202 E. Mantua Ave., Wenonah on Saturday, Oct. 15th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wenonah Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice. Memories & Condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.
