Obituary for Sheila J Fey

Sheila Jean Fey, passed away on February 21, 2020, at Northwest Medical Center at the age of 90 with her family by her side. Sheila was a resident of Mantua, New Jersey for over 50 years and a "snowbird" in Margate, Florida.

Sheila was predeceased in 1990, by her husband, Bertram B. Fey. Survived by her son, Steven W. Avis, and his wife Caroline; her daughter Nori Sue Fey and her husband, J. Scott Rambo who she lived with for nearly 30 years. Also she is survived by her grandchildren, Jill Burger, Mark Avis, and Richard Wisniewski. She leaves to cherish her memory, her special grandson, who called her his "best friend", Brock Rambo.

Sheila also leaves her brother Edmund Budnik and his husband William Boulder, who were her best friends for many, many years. The three spent time together travelling. enjoying the theater, shopping. dining and having wine. They were often inseparable. Sheila also had many special friends from Margate, Florida including George, Urbain, Estelle, Mo, Ramona, Ron, Madeline, and so many others. They each touched her life in a special way and made her winters in Florida something she looked forward to year after year. Sheila worked at Struthers and Dunn for many years as a supervisor, and also worked for her friend Dana Frye at Kiddie Korral where she touched many young children's lives - a few who stayed in touch with her and continued to call her Mom Mom or Grandmom Sheila. When Brock was born Sheila gave up her work to devote her life to helping raise him. From the day he took his first breath until the minute she took her last, the two had a very special bond. Brock has now gained a guardian angel. Sheila's 90 years on earth were celebrated with memorial services in Margate, Florida.

Donations can be made in Sheila's memory to her favorite church where she attended for over 50 years - Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 260 Barnsboro Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.

Sheila will be greatly missed - watching Judge Judy and drinking wine at 4 PM will never be the same.
