Sonja R. Broszeit age 81, of Mantua passed Friday, December 30, 2022. Sonja was a lifelong resident of Mantua; she was known for her years of working in various diners and restaurants as a waitress in the surrounding towns. Sonja enjoyed the beach, tending to her yard, and spending her time at home.

Sonja is survived by her brother Max Broszeit and his wife Doriann of Mantua, NJ; sister, Lydia Keller and husband Kenneth of Frisco, TX,; her nephews, Max C. Broszeit Jr. and Kenneth Keller Jr.; and also her great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Max and Mary Broszeit, and her sister Anna DeFay.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, with burial to follow at Manahath Cemetery in Glassboro, NJ.
