Stanley S. Manel Jr., born May 4, 1929 passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 90. Born in Schuylkill Haven, PA, he resided in National Park, NJ. Stanley worked in DuPont Gibbstown for 35 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of National Park. Stanley enjoyed the casino, horse racing, watching the Phillies and Yankees and spending time with his family. He loved being called Pop-Pop.

Married to the late Regina M. "Jean" Manel (nee Ebenhoech) for 61 years, Stanley is survived by two daughters, Regina M. Emmons "Chickie" and her husband Norman, and Doris A. Manel-Long and her husband John; and his son, Stanley S. Manel III. He had 4 brothers and 4 sisters, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Wednesday, May 29th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First UMC of National Park, 414 Asbury Avenue, National Park, NJ 08063.
