Obituary for Theodora "Dora" Vis (Epping)
Theodora “Dora” Vis, 96, of Walnut St., Brookville, PA formerly of Wenonah passed away peacefully late Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home following a period of declining health.
Born on August 26, 1926 in Deventer, Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Marie Klunder Epping. On January 12, 1950, in Deventer, Netherlanders she married Evert Vis. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2004.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and flowers.
Her survivors include her son, William (Fiordaliza) Vis; her grandson, Evert Vis; her granddaughter, Eliza Vis; and her two nephews, Ben (Sue) Nikkles and Robert (Toniann) Nikkles; and two nephews. Theodora was predeceased by her parents, husband; and sister, Hendricka Nikkles.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 4th from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM. Interment will follow in Wenonah Cemetery in Gloucester County, NJ.
